This inquiry form is intended for students and researchers seeking computational research stays, master's thesis projects, lab traineeships, or doctoral visits with Prof. Sérgio F. Sousa. (Students do not need to come exclusively for a formal degree thesis; practical lab projects and research internships are equally encouraged).

Note: Students seeking only to attend classroom lectures/courses ("fazer cadeiras") should apply directly through the central University of Coimbra DRI Exchange Office ↗.

What to Have Ready

  • Updated Academic CV: Highlight any relevant programming (Python, Bash), Linux, or simulation experience.
  • Research Topic Interest: Indicate whether you lean towards MD, QM/MM, or Machine Learning/AI.
  • Mobility Dates: Preferred semester or date range (minimum 2 months for traineeships).
